Osunlade embodies art. With harmony, life, and knowledge,
his music and existence produce united melodies. St. Louis,
Missouri, pioneered blues, ragtime, and jazz. At seven,
Osunlade found the piano and saw his future. By twelve, he
liked writing songs. His craft developed as he founded local
bands, taught himself instruments, and studied.In 1988, he
visited Hollywood at seventeen and began his career. He
appealed to choreographer/performer Toni “Mickey

” Basil.
Giving him a part in creating music for Sesame Street and
other projects. With her support, he relocated to Los
Angeles and began a long music production career. He
produced Interscope Records' debut record years later.
Longtime buddy and aspiring actor/dancer Gerardo was the

artist. One of the first Latin pop songs and novelty

catchphrases was "Rico Suave.

" He had several chances to

perfect his skills after releasing a multi-platinum album and
four gold singles.After producing almost twenty records,

Osunlade believed the music business pressures

overpowered his enthusiasm. He left corporate principles
and demands. He was introduced to If a, a nature-based

culture/religion from the Yoruba nations of Africa and
practised by slaves in America, to find spiritual consolation
and honour his soul. IN 1999, Osunlade began his dream.

After its 1999 debut, Yoruba Records has dominated dance

music. Osunlade, famous artist and producer. Yoruba

produces some of the most consistent and diverse music,
from deep house to soulful jazz, based on If ma

with jazz, soul, and alternative electronic

His DJ sets have earned him world class status and praise. His

continued aim to push musical and social boundaries are

in the world.
