A lot of people have been asking us... so here are the answers!

  • I'm lost, how do I get there?
    Please type in the venue name - Lancemore Macedon Ranges into your maps and NOT the address on your tickets. The address takes you 100m up the road from the venue entrance.
  • Is Festival 23 at the same site as in 2020?
    Yes! We are super excited to return to Lancemore Macedon Rages on Taungurung land. Dont miss the welcome to country by Taungurung Elder, Aunty Jo on the Friday evening.
  • Will there be music outdoors?
    Yes, there will be two outdoor sound systems around the dam and pool and near the food stalls.
  • If I can no longer make it, how do I resell my ticket?
    You can also resell your ticket safely and securely via Tixel.
  • What food options will be available at Festival 23?
    The Lancemore Macedon Ranges restaurant serves locally sourced Modern Australian cuisine. We will also have food stalls from Los Hermanos Mexican Taqueria, Romeo Italian Pizzas, Kozume YUKA Mikayama Japanese, Royal Road Coffee & Pies, Barefoot Blender Juices. All with vegan and veg options available.
  • Can you BYO your own alcohol?
    Yes, you’re allowed to bring one slab of canned drinks and 2 bottle of spirits per person to your accommodation area. NO GLASS! Please distill into plastic!!
  • Is Festival 23 kid-friendly?
    Yes, kids are welcome as long as they are supervised by adults at all times, of course. Under 18s are free.
  • Are day passes available?
    Yes, they are! Please visit the ticket page through the BUY TICKET button
  • When do gates open? When does the music end?
    Gates open 8am Friday the 27th Jan Everyone must be offsite Monday 30th Jan by lunchtime Music goes until Sunday night, late-ish - check set times for details
  • Is Festival 23 wheelchair accessible?
    Mostly. The newly renovated part of the venue is 100% wheelchair accessible, but some older parts still only have stairs.
  • If Festival 23 gets cancelled, will I get my money back?
    Yes, we are fully insured. Should the event get cancelled, you will 💯 get your money back. The site has not been isolated or affected even by the recent huge rains, so this is extremely unlikely.
  • Can I leave and come back to the festival?
    Yes, if you are staying offsite and travelling in and out each day, you will need to register your vehicle and purchase a car pass. All proceeds will be going to Tree Creds to offset carbon emissions.
  • Do I have to purchase a vehicle pass?
    Yes, you can purchase a vehicle pass for $23 or more at the gate. Cars with 3 or more people in do not pay. Please make sure you have this cash ready if paying at the gate. All proceeds are going towards Treecreds to offset all of our carbon emissions.
  • Is general camping included?
    Yes, everyone is welcome to camp in the general camping area. If you would like to upgrade your experience, you can purchase a glamping package.
  • Will I be allowed to camp on Thursday?
    There will be no party on Thurday 26th due to it being Invasion Day. Access to festival will be from 8am on Friday 27th.
  • Can I sleep in my car, bring a camper van or RV?
    Yes, caravans and camper vans will have their own designated camping area.
  • Can I cook my own meals using a gas cooker?
    No, we are under a full fire ban so no open flames anywhere on site.
