Caly Jandro is a Melbourne based DJ and Producer, and one of the Australia’s most vibrant up and comers. Over the last 9 years, Caly has done his fair share of damage, releasing on the internationally renowned ‘Beat & Path’, his first release ‘Rokia’ reaching number 3 in the Deephouse charts. He has also released several times on Sofa Beats, a Danish Sub-Label of Iboga Records, and is soon to be on trndmsk.

 

In addition he has played some of the State’s most revered clubs gigs, such as Revolver Upstairs, 161 & Pawn & Co, not to mention his features at festivals such as Strawberry Fields, Rancho Relaxo, Kamp Culti, Let Them Eat Cake, Festival 23, Chi Wow Wah Town, Comfort Zone and Babylon Festival.

 

In addition, Caly is also the founder of Melbourne crew Circadian Rhythms, celebrating 4 years bringing the World Music Revolution’ to Australia’s scene.

 

Caly’s Vibe is distinctive. Throughout all of his musical styles, his blend of Organic World Sounds and Stimulating Electronic Elements is what ties his sound together. Coming from a musical background, his love for all instrumentation is apparent, and whether it be Downtempo, or an uptempo dance-floor set, he always finds a way to blend these different styles together.

Often, Caly’s primary directive is to take you on a journey from one place to another, and delve into the deep connections between himself and others through music.

In 2017, Caly was signed to new Australia & NZ label Beat & Path, his November 2017 Release ‘Rokia’ featuring Highway Beauty, Uone & Out of Sorts reaching number 3 in the Beatport Deephouse Releases Charts, with some exciting releases on the cards for the coming months.

Although music is his primary passion, Caly is not just a DJ. Over the last few years, he has played a strong role in the development of Melbourne’s Underground Scene, most notably with his role as a Co-Founder of The Boogie Beats Collective and Circadian Rhythms, not to mention his involvement in local power label Beat & Path. His passion for music and people have led him to achieve many things so far, and he is most certainly one to watch over the years to come.
