LILI JOY

Lili Joy’s passion for music has continually been her life. Violin player since the age of five, choir singer and performer, Lili developed a strong passion for collecting and mixing various music from an early age. This passion eventually became a career choice within the sunny Sydney underground music scene.

The sun laced waterfront venues became a perfect setting for the tropical, warm and contagious music style Lili developed and has well curated. She has since toured Europe, Australia, Pacific Islands, U.S., New Zealand and performed at major music festivals including Burning Man, Subsonic Music Festival, Burning Seed, Rabbits Eat Lattice, Dragon Dreaming and Splendour in the Grass. A regular at some of Australia’s best underground music venues and parties, Lili’s sound and energy is one of a kind, making her a well sought out artist locally and internationally.

Lili Joy’s warm energy radiates through her music but also through her passion for environmentalism. She is the founder of "Leave No Trace Celebration” , a monthly clean up beach event hosting local and international DJs. Leave No Trace Celebration focuses on environmental awareness, education and respect for nature and is also founder of “ Shut Up ’n’ Dance “ underground techno events in Manly. This combined with some of Sydney’s best curated sounds in one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Lili’s fine tune selection and contagious sound can be heard on her Soundcloud and constant participation to different radio shows.
